The Stable was founded in 2008 by the husband and wife team of Ronald J (Jeff) and Lisa A Greener. Both share a passion for Thoroughbred racing. Jeff has owned and operated retail and manufacturing businesses since he started his first company while still in high school over 32 years ago and has been involved in Thoroughbred racing for over 10 years, Lisa has been in business management for over 18 years after receiving her degree in accounting and business management.
The company has retained the services of one of the mid-atlantics top training teams, Murray and Eddie Rojas. Murray has been involved with horses since she was a child. As a teenager she competed on the “A” show circuit aboard Arabians and ranked among the top ten in the nation in Western, English and saddle seat. Her first track jobs were at Penn National, she eventually settled in Maryland, where under the guidance of the late J.J. Richardson she learned her current trade. Murray polished her skills as an assistant trainer with Joe Orseno when he was at Philadelphia Park (then Keystone) and Garden State. She soon got her own trainers license and the rest is history. Eddie Rojas started his career as a jockey in his home country of Chile, but quickly moved his tack to the USA where he was ranked in the top ten at Gulfstream and Hialiah. After retiring from the saddle Eddie became a trainer with a small farm called Calumet. Murray and Eddie were married in 2000 and have been a great team ever since.
